Difficult to use, arm with monitor on has to be held next to chest just right or it will not operate. Documentation vague.

the wrist bp monitor is a lot easier to use than the one that wraps around the arm. initially, i was concerned about the accuracy of this type of monitor, but after checking out the reveiws, i thought we should try it at the assisted living facility at which I work. the instructions which came with the monitor made the use seem more difficult than how it actually ended up. a staff person from another facility showed me an easier way to use it. put the monitor of your wrist (left wrist), raise your arm across your chest and hold or place the left arm on the right shoulder. that seems to be the easiest way to get the correct position - and the positioning must be correct to get the monitor to work. i've taken it to have it checked by a physician and it all seems to be working correctly.

This monitor doesn't cause me any problems. It is reading similar to other monitors that I have, except for the nurse.

I couldn't get it to work. I am a very busy nurse and did not take the time to return it. I through it away. $70 down the drain.
